From the register book to Rabita One
How a mahallu moves its house and member register online without losing a single family, and without retyping the book.

Most mahallus keep their register in a book or a spreadsheet that one person understands. Moving it online should not mean starting again.
One template, two languages
Rabita One gives the committee a single Excel template with English and Malayalam headings. Each row is a house or a member: house number, ward, family head, members, phone numbers and varisankhya plan. Names can be written in both languages.
Checked before anything is saved
When the file is uploaded, every row is checked first. If a house number repeats, a ward does not exist or a phone number is incomplete, Rabita One lists the rows to fix and saves nothing. Only a clean file is imported, all at once.
Data health after the import
The Data health screen then shows what still needs attention: phone numbers not yet verified, consent not recorded, houses behind on varisankhya. The committee works through the list at its own pace.
House numbers from the book can be kept. New houses continue the same series, so families never get a second number.
